I totally feel the same about new crayons…;) you can also melt some broken pieces of crayons in your oven in small ice cube forms. Multi coloured short ones are a hit as well 😉
Isn’t it weird how this is the cure for the perfectionists in us who can’t stand crayons breaking? 🙂 I dare not try melting crayons of any sort … Maybe I’ll get past the fear of mess one day …
Hahaha, it is no mess at all if you melt them in an ice cube tray… They only melt and when they cool down they become steady again 😉 so you go girl, and face your feares! Hahaha (but wait until the new interest starts fading away, so you will have a new reinforcement)

An interesting idea. I will have to try this since I’m trying to improve my daughter’s pencil grasp as well.
